Win tickets to CFUnited so you can see me!

January 9, 2007 ·

Ok, you might have *other* reasons for going to CFUnited this year apart from wanting to hear me talk about Advanced CFEclipse, although I cannot imagine them (joking!). If you want a free (yes siree, FREE as in nada, nothing, zero, zip) ticket to CFUnited you have to listen to the most excellent ColdFusion Weekly podcast, which I presume you are already doing for goodness sakes! There is NO excuse not to! At the end of every episode from now to May they will be giving a valid entry code. Use your iTunes for something actually interesting and get listening! Note: You could be saving up to $849!!! You can spend it on buying me drinks!!!

So, in order to win free tickets, people would have to listen to podcasts. Bummer for people who are hearing impaired. :-(

I guess that would be a problem... hmm.. I think its a matter of to take up with the CF Weekly podcast guys :( Sorry about that.

So does this mean you have your ticket and travel taken care of? Or will you be taking donation requests for CFUnited 2007?

Err, I am hoping that as part of speaking at CFUnited I get a ticket to get into the conference! (I am assuming.. but then again, what do I know?). With regards to the hotel + flight, I havent sorted that out yet... you recon I should open up donations?

I shall also be at cf.Objective and Scotch on the Rocks as a speaker (I think... I am only confirmed for Scotch on the Rocks...)

Well if you do not have any "corporate sponsors" to help pay for flight and hotel, then at some point open it up to the community. Certainly those of us attending CFUnited 2007 could help pick up the tab for a product we all use. I would love to see some deep pockets help you out (read between the lines) but if that doesn't happen, I would be more than happy to chip in.
