Reminder: CFEclipse presentation at the London UK CFUG

March 2, 2006 ·

I shall be presenting tonight at the UK CFUG, and showing all the new features in CFEclipse that we have been developing over the last couple of months.

I shall also be presenting something pretty exciting, the RDS plugin for Eclipse by Adobe. This is a great place to preview the plugin since it is still in alpha stage but looking very good so far!

We will be trying to record the audo tonight so that we can put together a nice presentation for you later on if you are unable to attend (whats your excuse??.. ok ok.. wrong country!)

You can register for the event here: http://www.ukcfug.org

well, I'm really excited to see any sort of transcript/recording of your presentation. I just saw Nathan's Zero to Hero recording on google videos and I'm really getting jazzed.

oh, and by the way I got you the Dune tv series from your Amazon wish list just now... Amazon UK, funny they don't say "ship to this address" they say "dispatch to this address" and they call "Bill to Address" an "Invoice Address" Don't we all speak the same language? ;-)

Michael! Thanks for that! That is awesome! Thanks so much for that! First item of my list that someone has sent! I shall bug fix and add more features like crazy now!

With regards to the language, I guess we dont say "bill me" a lot its what we call an "americanism" :)

Michael, I need to edit down the transcript and sort it all out with screencapture stuff so that it all works well.. I shall try and get this done over the weekend so it all works and get it posted over to cfeclipse by next week.

    Regards

Hi Mark - thanks for the enjoyable presentation on CFEclipse last week. I was the guy who got the wrong key combination in the mug competition! B->

I found out why I was confused - there was an article on Nate Strutz' blog about his snippets & keyCombos, where he had changed the key combination to [ctrl]+[shift]+[period], which I've just adopted.

I use CFEclipse every day and find it to be the best editor (sorry, IDE B->) around, so to show my appreciation, I'll be getting you something from your Amazon wishlist (no, not the Xbox 360!) to say thank you.

    All the best

    Thanks for that Cliff!

I am on a training course all week so I havent been able to do much work on CFE this week. Although there are alot of things I want to add (webservicees being one of them)

also I need to bash away at the fusebox plugin (and the ModelGlue one too since I am doing some MG work now)

I also think its best not to get the Xbox... might never get round to doing some coding!

No problem - hope you enjoy the CD, it's one of my favourites!

Web Services sounds useful, especially as a project I have on the horizon will use them.

I'm currently pulling an all-nighter, as my current project goes live at 08:30 tomorrow and isn't finished yet! I much prefer to work on my own - always had problems when I've had to rely on others to do some of the work. B-<

Oh well, back on my head, I suppose.
