MAX in Las Vegas!

July 12, 2006 ·

I know this must be late, but I am just getting back into the swing of things after my holiday in San Francisco (great city! photos coming soon!) but I see that they have finally put up info on the MAX conference in Las Vegas over at the Adobe site. After CFUnited and the buzz I got from going to such a gathering I would love to go to MAX, but alas, it is out of my reach, a bit of maths tells me that: Ticket for Max: $1,095 Travel : $2,565.78 Hotel : $2,145.00 So, we are talking at a base-line $5805.78 (or 3,162.00 GBP) for me to go to MAX. As much as I would love to, and apart from any "expenses" that I might incur (I hear JD might be a bit expensive in Vegas), it looks like for me its a no-no. Ho hum. Its crap in London at the end of October but I am sure I can manage it.

    Mark,

Is your travel amount just for Airplane ticket?

Hey Mark, good to see you had a nice trip (and happy Birthday for yesterday). If you do come up with a cunning plan to get the money please share :o)

Well, SOHO is just round the corner, so I could sell my ample body for a while, otherwise I might start up a donation fund :) The "Max the Mark" donation fund has got a ring to it non?

You should have gotten on the schedule to do the CFE presentation instead of Simeon. That would have saved you a nice chunk of change there....

I wasnt asked really, and didnt know about MAX until CFUnited, and then I should have flogged my wares! Although I think Simeon does a great job with showing what CFEclipse is and does, I might take some Advanced CFEclipse sessions, maybe if I get over to Max run a bit of a round table or something... but that is a big IF.

Threse always the MAX room mate option. I havent figured out the budget yet but i'm making a go of it probably. I wouldnt mind shaving off some $$$ by bunking up with someone else. Of course vodka and JD dont really mix that well. ;)

That is true, sharing a room does make sense since a double room essentially costs the same whether it has two or one person in it (depending though, I have seen some hotels that are a bit anal about that sort of thing)

I also drink EU Vodka lakes for breakfast.
