November 9, 2007 ·
I just wanted to post a note that this morning I did a release of CFEclipse 1.3.1.6. This is a bug-fix release, and has no extra features and is geared at some specific bugs:

I am just wondering if to do a lot more smaller releases with specific bugs or features or do a big release every few months?
What do you think?

You get major respect for continuing to produce such a top grade product for the CF community - great piece of work.
I don't currently use it however, and it all comes down to the tag completion functionality. I have been a long time user of Dreamweaver and love how fast the tag completion is.
As soon as you start a CF tag, the code completion popup is immediate without delay. Unfortunately I find that in CFEclipse there is often a delay when the code completion popup
appears and so I will press return to complete an attribute and I'm taken to the next line which is very frustrating.
Is this a limitation in Eclipse itself or is it something you think could be fixed in future versions.
I'm very keen to move to Eclipse with your superb plugin but until the code completion is faster I think I'm going to have to stay with DW.
Apologies if this a known issue and if there is already a workaround.
