Needless to say, no agencies please!

Lord knows that I would love to work with someone like you, and in what sounds like a really exciting position! I don't think I'm guru enough. I'm just starting my way down the Flex and AIR roads, and know very little about Java web technologies.
If I'm honest, I have to admit that I'm a big Brit-fan! I constantly use words and phrases that are very much British slang, I watch all sorts of UK television, etc. It's a dream of mine to visit England, so just thinking about working in the UK is pretty cool! I realize this is a pretty worthless post, but it's cool of you to post this sort of job opportunity for folks!
1) Ehem, last time I looked, my name is Mark, not Mike ;)
2) With regards to the technologies, you need to have some proficiency but the role is mainly ColdFusion
3) If you saw the weather this summer, I think you are very right that its *COOL* to work here, it definitely isn't hot!
1) *extracts foot from mouth* ... yuck! Needs salt, and maybe a little basil. I can't believe I called you 'Mike'. Maybe that's be cause I was recently talking to Mike Kelp at our CFUG meeting about you and all of the thankless work you do on CFEclipse. Or maybe it was because it was a Wednesday and my chair was facing north. I dunno. Sorry mate! *sheepish grinn*
2) Let me tell you, I'd give my left... well let's just say I wish I was doing more ColdFusion these days. I'm having to do some modification/maintenance of someone else's PHP code just now, and I'm not enjoying it. Not that I can't get it done, but I'm under the gun to get it done fast, and I just don't know how fast I can be with a language I'm not very comfortable with, and code that was written by some other bloke! ;o)
3) meh... I don't mind colder weather. I'm kind of a big guy, so the more clothes I can wear the better. :o)
