CFEclipse All-in-One (BETA) updated

This weekend I spent some time updating the install and checking that it worked for the CFEclipse 1.3.1.3 All-in-One Beta installer.

The CFEclipse A-i-O (tired of typing) is a single download package of Eclipse, CFEclipse, ANT, SVN and CVS so you dont need to do any updates, you can just download, unzip and go (or stay and code, whichever you prefer)

My previous post's links got invalidated so I have put a temporary page up for you to download them, also letting you know when I uploaded the file.

You can check it out here: http://www.cfeclipse.org/download/

I am still working on the linux one and will be trying to get a nice *WORKING* upload up whenever Ubuntu decides to work...

Mark Drew's Gravatar Err, how are you installing them? are you using the update site? If you are on windows, have you tried doing -clean after you start CFEclipse?

rob's Gravatar Looks great!! I am also getting the "resulting configuration does not contain platform" bug when trying to install aptana.

But other than that very stable and very slick.

Mark Drew's Gravatar I shall look at what the missing plugin is and see if I can get it into the product.

Tom Chiverton's Gravatar Apperantly my activator is invalid because:
"java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/eclipse/ui/plugin/AbstractUIPlugin
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:620)"

Linux/OpenSuSE/64-bit

Do I missremember you saying at CF_Drinks that it worked on Ubuntu now ?

John Farrar's Gravatar I am getting this error also ( Resulting configuration does not contain the platform. ) trying to install the new JSEclipse from labs. Seems to be a popular error at least. Maybe this one is fix it once and everyone will be 100% happy! LOL

Mark Drew's Gravatar I did say that the idea of the All - in - One is that you can just get CFEclipse up and running with minimum of fuss right? Adding other plugins means that they have dependencies for libraries that I don't so I would have to find out what they are and include them. So from the feedback, I probably wont continue on this path.

Jason's Gravatar Thanks Mark - this is really helpful. I was just curious - does this include RDS - or would you consider adding RDS to the next All-In-One?

Mark Drew's Gravatar I would love to, but I dont think the Adobe licence allows it.
